Terms of Service

Last updated: 13/10/2026

By using Pronto Host you accept these Terms of Service. The Italian version prevails in case of discrepancy.

Data processing agreement (DPA)

1. The service

Pronto Host lets hosts create digital, multilingual welcome guides for their guests, generating nearby recommendations and publishing them via a link.

The service is provided by MYLAE DIGITAL DI DAVIDE MERENDA, Piazzale Europa n. 2, int. 1 — 98057 Milazzo (ME), Italia, C.F. MRNDVD91D18F158T – P.IVA 03878780836.

2. Account

To use the service you must create an account with a valid email and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Plans and payments

Each new guide costs €14.90 for its first 30 days and renews at €4.99 per month from day 31. If you add a guide to an active subscription, you pay €14.90 for its first 30 days and the shared next renewal date for all active guides moves to 30 days after the addition; from that date the recurring amount is €4.99 per month for each active guide.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until suspended or cancelled. Payments are handled by Stripe.

We may change prices with notice; changes do not apply retroactively to a period already paid.

4. Free creation, recommendations and publishing

Without an active subscription you can create one guide for free over the lifetime of the account. Deleting the guide does not restore this entitlement. Local recommendation generation, automatic translations and public guide sharing (the guest link) require an active subscription and availability for that guide within the included guide count.

5. Suspension and cancellation

You can suspend your subscription: billing is not renewed and guides stay online until the end of the period already paid, then go offline until you reactivate. If you reduce the included guide count or schedule a guide not to renew, excess guides stay saved but will no longer be online from the next renewal.

You can change the number of guides from the Pronto Host billing page. The Stripe portal lets you update payment details, view invoices or cancel the subscription. On cancellation the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid; afterwards your guides go offline but stay saved in your account.

Amounts already paid are not refunded for the current period, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.

6. 'Invite a friend' programme

If a friend you invite via your link signs up and activates a paid plan, you receive €4.99 of credit on your subscription, added to your balance and deducted from future invoices.

The credit may be reversed if the friend's payment is refunded or in case of breach of these terms. Self-referrals and fake accounts are not allowed. We may change or end the programme at any time.

7. Host content

You are responsible for the content and data you enter and publish and warrant its lawfulness. You grant us a limited licence to process and display it to your guests to provide the service. Your guide content remains yours.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful, deceptive or rights-infringing purposes, and not to compromise its security or operation.

9. Generated content

Generated recommendations (places, routes, times) are produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies: they are indicative and should be verified. The service is provided 'as is', without warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of generated content.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Mandatory consumer-protection rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to Foro di Messina, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

Check-in privacy notice

The service includes collection and review of check-in data and submission to Alloggiati Web when configured. The host remains responsible for identification, data accuracy, reporting deadlines and checking results and receipts; online upload does not replace checks required by law. The host must provide guests with a complete notice before collection, authorize only necessary personnel and retain no document copies after fulfilling the reporting obligation. The data processing agreement (DPA), published at /en/legal/dpa, forms an integral part of these Terms: accepting them appoints MYLAE DIGITAL under Article 28 GDPR on the DPA's instructions. Download receipts before deleting the account to meet the five-year retention requirement.

At properties with tourist tax configured, a separate operational register uses only accepted guests' first and last names, linked to technical stay and guest references, to correctly attribute individual stays, early departures and tax counts. The legal basis is the operator's legitimate interest in correctly managing the stay and tourist tax, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object on grounds relating to your particular situation by contacting the operator using your booking or invitation details. Acknowledging the notice is not consent to this processing.

Following Alloggiati Web's confirmation of acceptance, Pronto Host automatically starts deleting accepted guests' uploaded documents, OCR readings and transmitted personal-data payload. For partial submissions, deletion covers explicitly accepted guests; rejected data or data with an uncertain result remains temporarily available to resolve the result, for at most 7 days after the attempt. We do not retain an archive of transmitted named guest records. The official receipt and technical metadata needed to identify it are retained for 5 years after submission, without adding document copies or named guest lists.

To recognize guests already reported and prevent duplicate submissions, only accepted guests' first and last names remain in temporary Submission and receipt metadata for 48 hours after submission confirmation, including at properties with tourist tax configured and after early checkout. They are then automatically deleted and no longer accessible. This temporary list is separate from the official receipt: it changes neither the PDF nor the receipt's five-year retention.

Operational names remain available at most until the end of each guest's originally planned departure day in Europe/Rome. Recording actual departure and checkout immediately makes them inaccessible and starts deletion; deleting the stay, fiscal data, property or account, or disabling the purpose has the same effect. Corrections and recalculations neither recreate names nor extend expiry. The separate 48-hour temporary list in Submissions and receipts does not end at checkout or deletion of fiscal data alone. Fiscal history retains references and counts without copies of operational names; the official receipt remains unchanged.

Drafts and unsubmitted check-ins expire two days after the arrival date, counted from 00:00 UTC, or 7 days after creation when no arrival date is set. Automatic jobs perform deletion and retry technical failures. The operator can delete data earlier when it is no longer needed. Account deletion also removes the receipt archive: the operator must download and retain receipts beforehand. These rules apply to data managed by the service; the authorities apply their own retention periods. To help the host identify missed submissions, only the first and last names of unsent guests remain available for 72 hours after the reporting deadline, calculated in Europe/Rome. Names are then deleted too; dates, guest counts and the number of unsent records remain without identifying data.

The host instructs Pronto Host to process the minimal register only for stay and tourist-tax management, documents interest, necessity and balancing, informs all guests and limits access to necessary authorized personnel. Marketing, model training and copies of documents, OCR, further identity data or health reasons in this register are not authorized. Deletion of the Alloggiati Web payload, documents and OCR upon confirmed acceptance remains separate and unchanged. The register covers only collection accompanied by the new notice; it does not reconstruct names from receipts, backups or deleted data. At expiry the processor denies access and performs deletion with retries; technical copies follow providers' contractual cycles and restoration must not reintroduce expired names.

The operational trial without an account lasts 7 days from the first guide publication or check-in link activation. Alloggiati Web submissions are real and require the host’s verified email and acceptance of the Terms, privacy notice and DPA. The service email is encrypted and used for verification and recovery, without implied marketing consent. Unactivated setup expires after 14 days; the guide, configuration and credentials remain recoverable for 30 days after the trial, then are deleted. Shorter deletion periods for guest documents and personal data remain unchanged. Receipts and minimal technical submission metadata remain stored for five years, with separate verified-email access without an account. Permanent voluntary archive deletion requires confirmation that receipts have been exported. Registration preserves trial deadlines and consumption and does not restore deleted data.
