Cookie Policy

Last updated: 09/07/2026

Pronto Host uses only technical and functional cookies and some browser local-storage technologies (such as localStorage), necessary for the service to work. We do not use profiling, advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies. Because we install only technical tools, under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines your consent is not required: we still show a short informational notice for transparency.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser to work correctly and remember some information between pages.

Similar technologies (such as localStorage) are browser storage areas with a comparable function: they keep small pieces of information on your device to make the service work.

We distinguish technical cookies (needed to operate the service or to remember your preferences, which require no consent) from profiling and tracking cookies (which reconstruct your habits for advertising and require consent). Pronto Host uses only the former.

2. Cookies we use

All cookies we set are first-party, i.e. tied to the pronto-host.com domain. We do not install any third-party cookies on our site.

Language (NEXT_LOCALE) - Purpose: remembers the language you chose. Type: technical/functional. Duration: up to 12 months. First-party.

Referral (ph_ref) - Purpose: stores the invite code of whoever brought you here, to correctly attribute the 'Invite a friend' programme. Type: functional. Duration: 30 days. First-party.

3. Browser local storage (localStorage)

For some features we use localStorage instead of cookies. This data stays in your browser, is not sent automatically with every request and is not used to profile you.

Session - Purpose: keeps you authenticated after login, so you don't have to sign in on every page. Type: strictly necessary. Duration: until you sign out or the session expires.

Cookie-notice preference - Purpose: remembers that you've seen the informational notice, so it isn't shown again. Type: functional.

Interface preferences - Purpose: remember some guidance already shown (for example the intro tour or tips) so it isn't repeated. Type: functional.

4. Third parties and payments

We do not integrate third-party cookies on our pages. When you proceed to payment you are redirected to Stripe's secure pages (checkout.stripe.com): on those domains Stripe sets its own cookies, including technical and anti-fraud cookies, governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

The providers that generate guide content and translations (for example Perplexity, Google and Anthropic) operate server-side and do not set cookies in your browser through our site. Details of these providers are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Managing cookies and local storage

You can block or delete cookies and local-storage data at any time from your browser settings (usually under Privacy, History or Site data).

Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies or storage may break some features (such as signing in or your chosen language).

6. Controller and your rights

The data controller is MYLAE DIGITAL DI DAVIDE MERENDA. To exercise your rights over your personal data and for any further information, see the Privacy Policy; you can contact us at hello@pronto-host.com.

7. Changes

Any updates will be published on this page with the new last-updated date.
